"To me, this is the sound of Bunkern, the underground concrete rehearsal space we used as a studio in Gothenburg from cirka 2006 to 2010. We were always working at night because there were rock bands rehearsing during evenings and in the days we probably slept? So until the first tram to Gamlestaden left at 5 in the morning or so, it was always non stop work every night. No one had a job or anything back then, obviously. Other than me it was usually Jon (always) and sometimes David who was there during those sessions, and this is them collaborating. So here it is, this is what it is like on the inside of a concrete bunker, working on techno tracks through the night and until daylight." - Lo in 2022

"This is one of my favorites in the Stålverk-catalog. It is also an early example of our modern sound. I guess a bit under the influence of David (see stal-116), we (Stålverk) started to think it was ok for us to make music that could be categorized as "techno". Before this, I think we were working in some hard-to-define electronic style. I guess we were too "smart" to make techno. But it was that music we were listening to and were interested in so I guess it was a matter of time before Stålverk artists would make something like this."
